Is online learning right for me?
Find out if online learning is the right fit for you by taking our Online Readiness Survey.
Our online courses are offered through iLearn, SF State's learning management system. iLearn is built on the Moodle platform. Moodle is an open source learning management system that allows schools and other users to create personalized learning environments.
Before the first class, students will have an orientation to online learning through a self-paced online course in iLearn. Students will also have an orientation to the program, available synchronously via Zoom, with on-demand access to the orientation recording. Both orientations are highly recommended but not mandatory.
The Online Success Coach will be your advisor and point person as you complete your degree. The Online Success Coach will help you through orientation and class registration, and will provide additional support to help you stay on track. Email us to schedule an appointment with the Online Success Coach.
