Get a head start on your goals this spring through Open University. Registration is now open for Spring 2026 classes that begin Monday, Jan. 26.

Open University gives you the chance to take SFSU undergraduate and graduate courses without formal admission to the University. You can explore a new field, complete prerequisites or earn credit toward a future degree.

You may apply up to 24 undergraduate units toward a bachelor’s degree or six graduate units toward a master’s degree at SFSU.
