Learn about Winter Session at our information table on the quad.

With Winter Session you can earn up to four units taking undergrad or graduate classes during winter break, and apply credit toward your degree. Courses will be offered January 2–20, 2026. Many online courses are offered.

Financial aid may be available for eligible matriculated SFSU students who request a winter fee deferment. See Winter Session Fee Deferment on the Winter Session page.

Take advantage of Winter Session to stay on track or get ahead. This three-week session between fall and spring gives you more time to complete classes and work toward graduation or admission goals.
