Winter Session 2025: January 2 - 21
SF State Winter Session classes are now up. Check the class schedule to find your courses. Winter Session registration starts November 1, 2024. Winter Session is open to all.

- Current SF State students who want to earn additional credits during winter break to accelerate graduation
- Prospective students looking to explore SF State and complete prerequisites early
- Community members seeking to explore new ideas or gain new skills
How Much Does Winter Session Cost?
- Classes cost $360 per unit. Subject to change.
- Fees are the same if you are a California resident, an out-of-state student or international visitor.
- Financial aid is not available.
New! Financial Aid Deferment
Use your spring financial aid for Winter Session. Pay your Winter Session fees later, using your spring financial aid funds. If you are a matriculated SF State student with sufficient financial aid, you can request a fee deferment. Get the details on the Winter Session page.
