Note: Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis once all materials are received. Hard copy transcripts may take 4 to 6 weeks to process.

Go to Cal State Apply, choose the term you want to apply for, then click Apply. - Set Up Your Account
Create your Cal State Apply account and complete the Extended Profile.
Under “Degree Goal,” choose First Bachelor’s Degree. - Fill Out the Application
Complete these sections:- Personal Information
- Academic History
- Supporting Materials
- Add the BSBA Program
- Click Add Program
- Under Campus, search for San Francisco State University
- Under Source, choose Extended Education
- Select the term you’re applying for
- Pick the application for Pre-Bachelor Applicants
- Final Steps
- Answer the required and optional questions
- Upload your unofficial transcript
- Submit your application
To apply, you must meet the following requirements:
- Live in California or a state authorized for online learning. See State Authorization for details.
- Have at least 60 transferable semester units (or 90 quarter units).
- Have a 2.0 GPA or higher in all transferable college coursework.
- Have a 2.0 GPA or higher in any courses taken at SFSU.
- Be in good academic standing at your last college or university.
- Have completed all lower-division General Education requirements (34 semester or 51 quarter units) with a grade of C- or better.
You must also complete these prerequisite courses with a grade of C- or better:
- ECON 101: Introduction to Microeconomic Analysis
and one of the following: - DS 110: Calculus with Business Applications
- MATH 107 and MATH 108: Mathematics for Business Calculus I and II
- MATH 110: Business Calculus
You must submit official transcripts from all colleges you’ve attended to be accepted into the program.
If you are a current SFSU degree-seeking student or graduate, you do not need to submit official transcripts.
When you apply through Cal State Apply, upload any unofficial transcripts that show your college coursework.
