Description
The Global Business Communication Skills I course is designed to help students succeed in the fast-moving and ever-changing global business environment. Each class meeting, students will work to advance their written and spoken communication skills through a variety of assignments, receiving frequent feedback from their peers and instructor and develop strategies to continually advance their careers. Topics include networking and conducting a job search, creating a portfolio of job application materials, basic strategies for a successful interview, and intercultural communication dynamics. Students will have the opportunity to work with popular online business communication tools in addition to honing their skills in the classroom.
